¯I want it! Give it to me!
Nothing in life is free, not even rqsd's Fresh Certificates. First, you must decide what you need: Certification of facts or certification of public keys.
Certification of facts. I will certify anything you can prove to me. How? We'll figure it out, together. For a brighter tomorrow. Your value: You get a PDF/A document, signed by the rqsd Fresh Fact Certification Authority. Important: No legal value! I am not a notary public. If you were to present a document signed by the rqsd Fresh Fact Certification Authority in court, you will probably be laughed out of the court! However, maybe making the judge laugh is all you need to win the case!
Certification of public keys. Do you hate dealing with extremely short certificate expiry times? Do you just want your PowerShell script to work without doxxing yourself, your family and your niece's pet snail to some random corporation? Important: Does not work everywhere! Anyone who wants to access anything signed by rqsd Fresh Infrastructure Certification Authority – including your own devices – needs to import the root certificate first.
Once you know what you want, you need tokens.
Tokens are available from me if you ask nicely.
If you ask too much, I'll say no.
If you ask too little, I'll also say no because it's too much of a hassle to do it once in a blue moon.
It's like Intercal.
One token entitles to one certification.
An example token looks like this:
flag{TJGM7-BC2GK-FTHKF-FFDHR-6YMJ3}
Only
Warning: Undefined variable $tokne in C:\INETPUB\certifitastic\index.php on line 95
tokens remain!
¿How do I add the certificates to my trust store?
Here is the link to the root certificate. <!-- TODO investigate why link is broken --> Please consult the manual for the software and/or operating system involved on how to add it.
Important: This is a dangerous operation.
Adding a certificate to the trust store is not something to be done lightly.
This gives the power to anyone with access to the root certificate or an intermediate
certificate to, for example, snoop your Internet connection or bypass code execution policies.
This website is satire and, basically, adding this certificate to your trust store is what
we in the business call a bad idea.
’Are the keys secure?
The root certificate lives on a YubiHSM 2. Here is the attestation certificate. <!-- TODO investigate why link is broken --> Verifying it is left as an exercise for the reader. But are your own keys secure?
There is no certificate revocation list (CRL). I never make mistakes, after all. If you make one, well, suck it up.
